THE FINSBURY NEWS SHOWCASE
There is always something on the go at Finsbury – from infrastructural improvements, to controlled block burns in conjunction with neighbouring properties, to alien eradication programmes. A farm of this size requires constant maintenance and monitoring. The Management Team ensure that programme goals are met and that the Estate is functioning at its very best. Communication with members is essential to ensure that the Shareholders are kept informed of developments on the farm – from rainfall reports to river stocking programmes to animal sightings and ongoing maintenance updates. There are seasonal reports from Management and regular blogs (created by our Environmental Officer, Jimmy Whatmore), about events such as organised family walks, new species discoveries and adventures such as moonlight walks to the top of Mount Anderson which is adjacent to the farm. As a mature, established development, Finsbury has a proven track record and is successfully well managed to deliver on its promise of ‘Premier Fly Fishing’. It is also an active, responsible member of the local community in the Mount Anderson Catchment Reserve.
We also have a number of Finsbury branded items at the office – ideal presents for guests and a memento of a special experience to take home with you.
